I thought Sindel looked horrible at first because of the screen grab before playing the video but she actually looks really good besides that transformation.

I quite like that too as well. 

I do understand people feeling down because her MK11 face was one of the best, but she still looks good and I'm digging the wild/huge hair, gives her a more witch look. And that is kinda her thing.

The face model for Li Mei and Sindel look nearly identical. I kept getting confused telling them apart in the trailer but I absolutely love Sindel’s moveset and her hair in this game. Shao Khan also has a similar face to Motaro. Soooo confusing and what’s with the horns on Shao Khan???? He’s like a totally different character. His classic moves are also gone, including his old hammer. Motaro’s deflection power was a nice upgrade.

Don’t worry. I’m not afraid to say it. It’s been voiced by many in the gaming community. The people doing the face model for MK1 SUCK!!!!! They look terrible. MK10 and MK11 win in the appearance department. I am honestly confused by the aesthetics for MK1. They took a giant step backwards.

 

The only ones who look good are Reptile and Johnny Cage so far.
