This tragedy makes it beyond clear that there is no reasoning with anti-queer bigots. Some people in the community need to stop peddling and toying with anti-queer rhetoric to meet these bigots “in the middle”.

RIP to the victim and my thoughts go to her family and friends.

This is barely making any noise but let it be a conservative that refuses to bake a Pride cake and it wouldve been the top news story for weeks

Define noise though - engagement or whether it's being posted? I'm in the States and have seen this everywhere.

Cable news, network nightly news, local news and the web. Now whether people are clicking on it or watching videos on it is a different story.

A story where the killer's been killed doesn't last in terms of continuing engagement whereas the cake story is front and center in the culture wars.

Shooter was a 27 year old grown ass man who spent all his time online ranting about pride month and was so triggered by a flag he had to murder someone’s grandma, ******* virgin loser.

Social media is literally creating and fostering a whole generation of incel'd men who go out into the world with these warped views.

Beyond deranged and disturbing. :mazen:
