As somebody who’s played Dead By Daylight since 2017, it’s been nice having another asymmetrical horror game to enjoy.

I found it quite confusing at first but now that I’m learning the maps more I’m finding myself being able to escape quite consistently. Taylor Swift can be such a pain to play against though when her damage has been upgraded as she seems to slow you down so much.

Ana is badass! I love her appropriately ability!

Is anybody else already really bored of this game? I have around 20 hours now and I just have zero desire to play anymore. On certain maps it’s so easy to speed run escapes. I escaped about 8 times in a row the other day as Julie and didn’t get chased once. :rip:

I’m still addicted but I know what you mean. I wish some of the placements of the objects were a bit more random each match. I’m finding now I know exactly where everything is and I’m escaping the basement much faster.

Slaughterhouse is so easy to escape on, especially if you head for the parking lot exit as I’m finding that the Family rarely check that area and focus more on other escapes. I was really enjoying it at first and maybe once I go back after taking a break I’ll enjoy it again, it was just becoming too similar for me.

I was addicted to Friday the 13th for months, but I just don’t have the same love for this game right now. On the plus side, I’m really enjoying Dead By Daylight again after feeling burnt out on that.

Is this on the Xbox? I may get it! I saw some videos in YT and looks entertaining but I fear I may get tired of it soon.

I played it for the first time for a couple of hours last night and grew tired of it within that time frame. I went from being confused by it, to enjoying it, to becoming bored by it. It provides a good break from Dead by Daylight, but it's nothing I could play repetitively like DbD.

I very much worry about its replay value, especially with the limited amount of maps and its overall mechanics. The developers of DbD has been talking about implementing new games modes for a couple of years now. If they implement a game mode that's similar to this, to where there are various methods of escape from reworked maps, I don't see this getting much play from people.

It goes to show, that although DBD can be frustrating at times, especially the player base, the core mechanics of the game are solid because I’ve been playing it since 2017 and recently I’ve been really enjoying it.

I’ll probably check updates out for this game but I haven’t played it in 7 days now and I currently have no desire to return. It’s funny, because I was the only one from my friend group who was actively excited for it to come out and I’m the only one now not playing it lol. I think I just grew tired of it once I figured out where all of the escapes were and what perks were strong to use because like I said earlier, I was having so many escapes in a row without even having a single interaction with a Family member.

Just when I thought Sissy couldn’t get any more OP I’ve just realised you can crouch as her like the victims do. I’ve just had a match where I crouched in the bushes outside the doors to the house and scared the sh*t out of two victims, jumping out on them. Mother is mothering :jonny5:

Same, it's still as addictive to me as it was when I very first started playing it. The more they add to it, the harder balancing it all becomes—but I think they've been doing a fairly good job with the game. I do want more of a spooky atmosphere in the game again, though, and that's something The Texas Chain Saw Massacre absolutely excels at.

I could see myself playing it every other weekend, just to have something different to play whenever DbD does start to annoy me. And mostly playing as a member of the Family, I sometimes don't even come across a Victim until well after five minutes of playing. The matches do tend to drag because of it.

This game low-key flopped. The Steam numbers fell off a cliff over the last week & it’s now getting roughly the same amount of Twitch viewers as DBD (with DBD out viewing it more often than not now because a lot of DBD content creators are starting to ditch TCM).

Goes to show, Dead by Daylight just has that core fanbase and the gameplay replay value that this doesn’t. Do I think this game will completely die? Probably not, it’ll have a very small fanbase similar to Friday the 13th (which was a much better game), but will anyone really be talking about this game in a couple months? No.
