Kern Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 I feel like I like more Songs For You than 333
Kiss It Better Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 Songs For You = Nightride > In Case We Die > BB/ANG3L > Aquarius > Amethyst > Joyride > Black Water > 333 > Reverie

Frappucino Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 I always stream music but I might just get a vinyl player for this album.
nuclear Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 (edited) On the bright side it did ~4.1 million streams on Soundcloud first week Edited September 15, 2023 by nuclear
Relampago. Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 Nightride > Aquarius > BB/ANG3L >/= 333 > Songs For You > Joyride Amethyst > Black Water > Reverie > In Case We Die I was tempted to rank Joyride above Songs For You, because the worst tracks on SFY are truly her lowest lows, but it’s overall more cohesive and triggers me less when I think about the era so I put Joyride last. Nightride is probably always gonna be her magnum opus for me, but BB/ANG3L could surpass it if ANG3L is as strong as BB. 1

glitch Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 Nightride Aquarius BB/Angel 333 Songs For You Joyride
Alex Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 you know the music is good when the overall complaint from everyone is that the album is too short and we want more songs 1

Honestly I almost unstanned when I heard Songs For You for the first time I'm always a bit baffled when I see people ranking it so highly online. I guess because it was her first post RCA release, but it was just messy and honestly half of the songs sounded like any random girl could've written them. 333 won me back a bit but BB/Ang3l showed me she still has it. 2

Songs For You is also a little cringe for me, idk I know it’s about her breakup with Ben but I just can’t connect with the music as much for that reason It’s probably her most overrated album for me imo.

ZORBIT Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 Taking note from one of her biggest fan demographics (Koreans), I love this mini-album Tinashe you'll always be famous & hit platinum in my house! Besides Needs for streams; TTMN, UH, Gravity & Tightrope are stuck on repeat 1

Listen to the full track Well of those streams are from premium subscription, does that mean Tinashe is getting money there too? Wouldn't that be a good thing?
orange22 Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 Why as a Tinashe fan are you whining about charts and streams? We celebrate the small wins!
