But even if you make that argument, is a right-winger tweeting in bad faith to characterize liberals as hypocritical about climate change the right person to be co-signing here, as so many in this thread are doing? One hundred corporations make up about half the emissions of the human race and we have a systemic reliance on unsustainable corporate activities and unsustainable modes of transportation. What are bad faith tweets going to do about that? Most of the actual worst offenders in private jet emissions ensured that they weren’t being tracked before any of the numbers were compiled by anyone, and the list over a year ago that called out Taylor Swift was riddled with errors and omissions. How much do these targeted celebrities actually contribute to the problem when stacked up against the people rotting our planet from the inside out? The concern in this thread isn’t coming from a place of good faith encouraging more sustainable behaviors for everyone, it’s just seizing on one woman who half the people in here hate because she’s an easy and highly visible target.

Climate change is something that should concern us all. She doesn't HAVE to speak about it, but it would be good if she did. She has a massive platform and a lot of her fans probably come from Conservative backgrounds, which tend to deny climate change.

Do you guys remember one tweet that was like “Taylor getting a midnight snack from her kitchen” and it was a lady hanging onto a helicopter flying  

And the most liked reply right under it was someone saying “her going back to bed after the snack” and it was the helicopter video from above reversed so she was flying back in the direction she came from,
