All week on twitter a stan account from Hungary was encouraging stans to buy multiple copies, stream and purchase online. Apparently the OCC got wind of it and did an audit on Dua;s numbers. DLH is British 😭 1
Winged Posted August 18, 2023 Posted August 18, 2023 Seems odd to me how Billie got ahead of Dua The new No.1 is What Was I Made For? - the second by Billie Eilish, after 2020’s James Bond film theme, No Time To Die. The Barbie soundtrack hit was trailing Dua Lipa’s Dance The Night – also from the film - throughout the week only moving ahead in the final chart after the introduction of 7,787 sales on a single track, limited edition, pink cassette, selling for just 99p including postage. Added to 1,099 digital downloads and 36,602 sales-equivalent streams it gives a combined consumption of 45,488 for the track. Dua Lipa is thus at No.2 with Dance The Night, on consumption of 40,831 units, including 2,250 one track CD singles. 1
Solaria Posted August 18, 2023 Posted August 18, 2023 Dua forever tied to the number 2 inshallah Metamorphosis won't peak at No.2 on the BB200
BrokenMachine Posted August 18, 2023 Posted August 18, 2023 Also, Dua just interviewed Billie for her podcast, they're fine with eachother so stans in here: keep it cute

It's just pointing something out, calm down But they wont be removed so it's a pointless statement. Why not just say, If you remove streams Billie would be number one.

You literally need a UK address to ship the CD to. https://shop.barbiethealbum.com/gb/barbie-the-album/dance-the-night-from-the-barbie-album/0075678613418.html FREE STANDARD UK SHIPPING Limited edition CD single for Dua Lipa – Dance The Night (From The Barbie Album). UK exclusive. Yes, but I used my brothers UK address. But I am not in the UK. I just read this on another site, I obviously cannot confirm 100 percent, but I think it is strange that Dua was massively ahead only for Billie to get the no 1 at the last hour.

Stan accounts always encourage stans to buy stuff, it's not that dense. The prediction that had Dua ahead for 3k units was when the numbers were around 20k for each one, they ended up selling in the 40k range so anything could have happened around that time
josesuxx Posted August 18, 2023 Posted August 18, 2023 Anyway the best song on the Barbie soundtrack won very happy for Billie she's a legend

Dua was ahead cause she had more Spotify streams, more iTunes sales, more streams from AM, Deezer and YouTube its not that strange for her to be ahead. Billies cassettes shipped on thursday so that’s why she never got ahead of Dua.
jamiko1230 Posted August 18, 2023 Posted August 18, 2023 Were Billie's cassettes only for one week though? Either way, Dua and her team are self inflicting sabotage by NOT basically just doing the same this week now. How didn't'/don't they know how well cassettes sell. Even if Billie only did cassettes for a week Dua is 100% lock for next week if they put them out now.

State of Grace. Posted August 18, 2023 Posted August 18, 2023 Billie has the best song so congrats Dua is really unlucky in the UK nnnn An all women top 6 is fantastic though. And they're all good-great
