jdmc219 Posted August 16, 2023 Posted August 16, 2023 The famous...or infamous anticipated duel in the horror universe made its premiere to theaters 20 years ago. With Kelly Rowland, Jason Ritter, and Monica Keena! Some iconic scenes. Some funny. Some cringe (and we know what that was.) Share your memories!
PMKARDASHIAN Posted August 16, 2023 Posted August 16, 2023 Had to be there. I was about to be a freshman in high school, I was waiting for this movie for years. The theatre was PACKED. The movie is still trash tho and Freddy>>Jason Also whoever signed off on the dumb ass WWE wrestling angle had works for brains 1

Johnny Cash Posted August 16, 2023 Posted August 16, 2023 Kelly Rowland's Freddy vs. Jason Love this movie btw the two biggest horror icons no fads allowed
ccfan007 Posted August 16, 2023 Posted August 16, 2023 I made my partner watch this a month ago for his first time. I literally was living for it and had so much fun while he said it was complete trash and a waste of our night 1
Onyxmage Posted August 16, 2023 Posted August 16, 2023 This movie SCARED the f out of me when I was a kid. but having watched it a few years later it was just a sh**show.
zasderfght Posted August 16, 2023 Posted August 16, 2023 I remember seeing this in theaters with my dad, and enjoying every minute of it (I'm a horror buff), and my dad being like "yeah, this was a turkey." I haven't seen it now, even though I'm pretty sure I own it digitally. Visually, it's actually a really colorful and nice-looking movie, so if ever there was a 4K transfer (digital or physical release), it'd be interesting to see if the stellar video presentation would enhance my enjoyment of the movie. If I remember correctly, I think what made this movie a wash was stripping the scares from the original ANOES and the mystique/thrill of the first Friday the 13th. There's no surprise anymore. People are just part of a large body count. It felt very rinse and repeat, from what I remember.
Gossip_Boy Posted August 16, 2023 Posted August 16, 2023 Even though I know this film was not good, it was entertaining. Kinda sad we never got the Ash sequel.

Memoirs387 Posted August 16, 2023 Posted August 16, 2023 I love this movie. For those who hate it, to quote Carrie Bradshaw “You just don’t get it.”
Elvenpath Posted August 16, 2023 Posted August 16, 2023 We need the sequel please before Robert retires.
JungleJuice Posted August 16, 2023 Posted August 16, 2023 I belive Kelly Rowland bought her breasts with the check she made from this film!
