We need to stop screaming "guilty" everytime a celeb is accused of something. People falsely accuse random people of crap everyday. Lord knows they will do they same to celebs. I'm not a Lizzo fan one bit, but I will treat her situation like everyone else's. I'll simply wait for the facts to be presented It’s just odd to me that you can’t understand how it is in very bad taste to profess your love for someone when they have such horrible allegations against them.

I’m just saying let’s treat all crazy stans the same. People saying QuEen Bey! In response to her support of Lizzo sound delusional.
NausAllien Posted August 15, 2023 Posted August 15, 2023 I mean, if some of the things that have been said about Beyoncé are to be believed... Two peas in a pod... I really hope Ashley Everett writes a tell-all book one day... 2

Sorry, but I doubt she's going to be writing a book about the fantasies in your head. 2
Aethereal Posted August 15, 2023 Posted August 15, 2023 She does what her team says. She shouldn't have been involved with Lizzo and most other artists to began with, with or without the allegations. When you don't do interviews it's best to keep a distance with other celebrities. Beyonce was running away from Kim Kardashian since years, I would not be surprised if her team insisted her to become close with Kim but she rejected vehemently. 1 1
Revel Posted August 15, 2023 Posted August 15, 2023 Erm what Beyoncé... Just pretend I didn't see or hear this. Lizzo deserves to be blacklisted, her music is trash and her whole persona is fake.
Dreajae Posted August 16, 2023 Posted August 16, 2023 Seems like opinion is split. But you have to admit it's very strange for Lizzo to receive quicker cancel treatment over men who have physically assaulted and shown violence in the industry for literal decades. It's best to wait for the facts and this is giving witch hunt. 3 1
Cloröx Posted August 16, 2023 Posted August 16, 2023 Yes, innocent until proven guilty but we need to consider believing the victims first too. If anything it's stupid of Bey to publicly defend Lizzo, she should wait until the case is over because imagine if those allegations end up being true Lol at "Bey knows Lizzo better". It reminds of the bullies' parent when they deny their kids capable of being a horrible person

She didn't. Maybe she could have kept saying the name on and off. But she made her choice and doesn't have to explain what she does at this point. Plus there were articles circulating that Jay dropped Lizzo from consideration from SBHT which was ridiculous and painting a just as dangerous narrative for Bey and her family. For years the stans said they wanted personality and access to Bey. They get it and think this is enough to lump Bey in with several twitter faves who continue to maintain their respective fanbases by doing much worse.

Beyonce says something out of the supposed program code and yall run rampant with the imagination it seems. Bey does what she wants and she's well past explaining herself in an era where alot of faves do what they want. Always taking it too far.

It's understandable for him to do this based on the circumstances, everyone try to avoid any controversy it's common practice. However Bey defends Lizzo means she has picked her side and it's not a good look. She should stay neutral first.

I agree with your above post that this is probably a response to rumors that Beyonce intentionally skipped Lizzo's name but the idea was probably not hers. Nobody knows for sure. This is quite of a sensitive topic so I believe, if I was in Beyonce's shoes, if I did not get backed up by my team I would have a hard time making a decision. Don't you think the same?

Having said that, I believe the allegations are true.

I agree it doesn't make sense yet for a celebrity to come out for either side, since all that's known is the accusation. There's nothing wrong with Bey saying "I love you Lizzo" as that's simply showing affection for a friend going through a rough time - people still love their friends and family even if they did something bad. She didn't yell "I love you Lizzo, the accusers are all liars!!!" 1
