This has nothing to do with beyonka I’ve been team Lizzo the second allegations came out. Y’all get on my nerves with this “believe the victims” bullshit. Until it happens to YOU. People are happy to lie on the rich and famous if it gets them quick coin and attention. Especially if they were fired they will exaggerate to make stories fit their personal narrative. We’ve already seen a lot of allegations aren’t even about Lizzo herself but from management. I’m not a fan of DOG PILING on someone when an allegation starts. Y’all had YEARS to speak up but now conveniently want to run to the press to tell them about your story? I'll admit that I jumped way too fast to believe 100% of what the allegations said (because I like Lizzo a lot and I didn't want to be a hypocrite who excused actions as bad as what the articles described), and have, since then, decided to take a step back and wait to see what comes out of the trial.

 

That said, I think regardless of the trial and if the allegations are fully true or somewhat exaggerated/taken out of context, Lizzo clearly doesn't have a healthy work environment. There's too much smoke for there to not be fire, and I think Beyoncé can't possibly know the extent of things yet and should've maybe waited. Her endorsing Lizzo can make things quite hard for the women suing her, and it's clearly not an easy situation.

 

If she wanted to give Lizzo the benefit of the doubt and support her, she could've done so privately instead of pronouncing herself to or against her.
