i don’t really listen to her , but i think it’s really smart for artists (any artist) to take the power of leaks back into their own hands and release the music anyway

 

why hoard things that are already on the internet but mainly trapped to niche websites (like this one) and insider twitter DMs ??? because they can’t get a “proper release/push” ???? so nonsensical

 

people like Charli, Tinashe, and Lana are missing out on millions upon millions of streams if they just would release a collection of leaks / b-sides every now and then. completed songs only obviously, and i mean hey they can choose to ignore them from what they consider to be the “purity” of their official discographies but at it’s core it’s the more pure form of fan service for people who want to support their favorite rarity songs
