I think she added new harmonies in the second hook & in the bridge in this new version, wish they were in the original

This is a beautiful song, but it should have ended after the second chorus then she should have released an extended version with the outro later in the tracking week.

 

I remember back in the day artists would release a buzz song from their album weekly leading up to the album release date sometimes for a few weeks. This song should have came as a buzz single closer to the album date along with another buzz track or two. Maybe it will pick up some steam on mainstream radio, but that outro I feel like kills its chance of becoming a decent sized hit. Nicki has had a huge last two years and I feel like this song was a bit of a drop in her momentum. I’m sure she’s sitting on some bangers though. She clearly wanted to put a different vibe out than the other material we’ve heard so far from PF2 & in general this year.
