I understand why she is taking this direction so she isn’t painted as this bitter angry woman and I think it’s smart but I feel the track falls flat. The rapping is very cliche kind of damages the quality a bit. At one point it almost feels like it’s going somewhere towards middle end but it falls flat.

Sigh. I wish somebody would have the balls to tell Nicki her pop music mostly stinks up the place. This song isn’t the worst but it’s not good at all. Very generic and dated sounding. 
 

Pink Friday 2 is obviously gonna be another formulaic album with 5 good songs and 11 filler tracks with useless features talking about nothing like half of her discography. To be a skilled rapper with such a bad ear for good music is so terrible 

 

on a positive note… hopefully this song is a sign that she’s done thinking the world is against her and blabbing about it the entire album like she did on queen

This is up there on her mid-tempo pop songs! Everyone's saying it doesn't really go anywhere, but that's kinda the point? It's a hazy, melancholic groove. It doesn't really need a ton to do its job. It's no Save Me, but I'm impressed.

The more I listen to it the more I agree. This song doesn’t really go anywhere, but I think that’s kind of the point it’s like you’re supposed to get lost in it

After listening to You're Beautiful I kinda want The Rose/Woosung to remix this or cover it.... The way they would eat this up  I'm kinda hoping a lot of artists will cover this song! Would love to hear it in different voices and different interpretation of the lyrics too. Tove Lo could probably make a really sad cover of this too
