it’s been a while since i’ve liked a Nicki song as much as this one :clap3:

I love when Nicki does these poppier, melancholic tracks like Pills & Potions or Come See About Me

She never knows how to pick singles :skull:

Literally. Wish she had less control of her career tbh.

it's pretty boring and going nowhere for me,

hope it will grow

Starlight, Star bright,

First star I see tonight,

Wish I may, I wish I might,

Have the wish I wish tonight… :cries:

i'd have died if lana had such instrumental / production, it sounds so lush and dreamy.

The instrumental is so good but she basically did nothing with all that potential :rip: the melodies in the singing parts do nothing for me and the rap verse was mid. It's giving one of the random ballads at the distant end of Queen. Nobody asked for this

Surprised the mixed reaction for this song. I really like this one, Nicki rarely releases songs of this vein.

Not great. Hopefully just a buzz single.

This is super cute :jamming:

The production is outstanding, the chorus is really nice, and the verse is amazing as well!

I do wish there was a 2nd verse and maybe the outro was different, but it's still a great song imo!

I'm actually shocked by how good this is :deadbanana2: In the past 5 years the only Nicki song I've liked was Super Freaky Girl (and it was after some listens).
This sounds like something that could easily fit on The Pinkprint (her best album) :jonny: I hope it becomes a hit

I find this to be really lovely. :bird:

It’s alright as a cute background song. More promo-ish than single material. I think as for slower/mid tempo Pills N Potions and Save Me are way more superior.

This gives more “promo-single” than “official single”.

The instrumental is gorgeous; very lush, but the song itself does nothing for me. I’ve listened to it three times now and I just feel as though it goes nowhere.

It may grow on me but we’ll see. Perhaps she’s following the pink print pattern of releasing a ballad first (Pills & Potions) followed by a more uptempo bop (Anaconda).

It's cute, but it's def giving album track rather than lead single material.

However, it does sound like those sad songs that go viral on TikTok. Maybe that's what she's going for?

After a couple of listens I'm really digging the production on this one, it's so lush.

This would make a perfect album opener tbh, unfortunately it's lacking the punch that would make it lead single material. This is definitely a grower though so we'll see how I feel about it a week or two from now, but I like the direction the album seems to be heading in

It starts so strong but the minutes go by and nothing happens…
