movie Algeria bans the Barbie movie

The Algerian Ministry of culture has banned Barbie from Movie theatres for "going against community and family values" the movie has been allowed to screen since its release until today 

 

this comes after an Algerian journalist blasted the movie on Facebook calling it Homosexual Propaganda.

in fact Oppenheimer is still screening despite having many sex scenes. i guess that's not against community values per the Algerian government.

I just love the logic of “movie that features no displays of homosexuality=homosexual agenda”, but banning a movie that you don’t like isn’t pushing your agenda.

People were saying when it came out that it was pushing the the trans agenda, and from what I can tell they got that from the fact that it literally just had a trans woman in it.
