elincomprendid Posted August 13, 2023 Posted August 13, 2023 Following this new record-breaking week of 4 albums in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200, Taylor surpasses The Rolling Stones for the 2nd most weeks inside the region of the chart EVER. She now ranks just behind The Beatles, the biggest act on the chart history. Consider her insane rate of adding weeks, could Taylor end up surpassing The Beatles and take the #1 spot? If so, how far you think she'll reach and how long will it take her? If not, how close do you think she'll get and why do you think she wont? (=) The Beatles - 382 (+1) Taylor Swift - 309 (+4) (-1) The Rolling Stones - 308 (=) Barbra Streisand - 277 (=) Mariah Carey - 231 (=) Drake - 213 (=) Herb Alpert - 210 (=) Garth Brooks - 208 (=) Michael Jackson - 191 (=) Bruce Springsteen - 180 5 7
PoisonedIvy Posted August 13, 2023 Posted August 13, 2023 I never, ever, ever thought I’d see the day that some of The Beatles chart records you hear about could ever run the risk of being toppled. When I first started understanding and following some of these chart records back around 2014-2015, I understood those were records they would essentially hold forever. To see things shift in real time has been a wonder to behold. 11
Galaxy Posted August 13, 2023 Posted August 13, 2023 Morgan Wallen is coming too. His 2 and a half year old album is still in the top 10 and his most recent one will probably have the same longevity 1
TiaTamera Posted August 13, 2023 Posted August 13, 2023 She will clear it her next album most likely. 52 weeks is nothing for Taylor. If not the next album, the by the next 2. So she has the most weeks on top 200 for a woman and the most hot 100 for a woman?
Bonicap Posted August 13, 2023 Posted August 13, 2023 Yeah, she will definitely overtake The Beatles in this ranking sooner or later
byzantium Posted August 13, 2023 Posted August 13, 2023 Wow. I love seeing a pop girl take all-time records from men. Go, Taylor. 2
MardinBeksloy Posted August 13, 2023 Posted August 13, 2023 She’ll easily take the #1 spot by her last re-recording

Klein Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 The streaming era excuse is stupid when only the 2 biggest artists of our generation are in this list anyway. 3
chiliam Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 this is insane, those The Beatles record is no joke, they hold those records for like 60 years for a reason. Cant believe Taylor is slowly but surely will take some of those records. GOAT.
