It’s just a pitched vocal to my ears. 
 

I’m not sure if you know what Sam sounds like, but she was the vocalist on “Friday” (and I don’t think sounds far off from Zara) and likely sang the demo for this since she wrote the song, so it makes sense the additional vocals would be her, on either version.
