Jennifer Hough’s legal team has obtained court records from her 1994 rape case —including photos, medical exam results, and a transcript of Kenneth Petty’s guilty plea.

The newly submitted exhibits include photographs of injuries to a young Hough’s face, neck, and sides, as well as a police laboratory analysis report stating that Hough’s underwear and two vaginal smears “were positive for the presence of spermatozoa.” The report further states that a pair of “checker shorts” collected from Petty on the day of the alleged assault “were positive for the presence of spermatozoa.”

 

When asked what she hopes to demonstrate with these new documents, Hough told The Daily Beast that she “just wanted to show proof that I didn’t lie on this man. I did exactly what I was supposed to do. When it happened, I went to the police. I went to the hospital. I had a rape kit done.”

It is downright disturbing how many times, even on ATRL, that I’ve seen Barbz try to claim this woman is lying despite the fact that the evidence is overwhelming. It reminds me a lot of how “the blogs” have been doubting Megan despite testimonials from doctors that removed bullets from her feet and photos of her ankles destroyed being public. It’s seriously disturbing how our society will try to protect men.
 

Hoping Jennifer is some day vindicated despite the harassment from the Pettys.

I completely agree. There’s a fine line between blind stanning and actively enabling abuse and attacking the victims. The six barbs that are left… let’s just say they’re not the brightest of the bunch. There are lots of former barbs that jumped ship a few years ago, because the evidence is irrefutable and her behavior has been disgusting. I used to love her so much but she is basically just the Trump of rap.

Stanwar aside, the fact that Nicki, a globally celebrated and revered black woman PUBLICLY went forward with her GLOBAL platform to downplay this lady’s trauma and even allegedly harass and contact her over and over just for the SATISFACTION of a man who clearly doesn’t truly love her for her is CRAZZZZY!
 

 Ironically both her and Cardi are BIRDSSSS when it comes to their husbands but my GOD who would suicide their career in this way? She will never escape this stain on her legacy (which is badass btw) and it’s kinda sad tbh. I guess #ProtectBlackWomen only applies to women of power and prestige?
