not my favorite pop album of her but definitely my favorite era. She really gives it her all this eras, the visual, the media, the promo,... everything was on point. This is going down in history as the best modern pop era ever. maybe only Teenage Dream comes close, but Teenage dream is lacking the acclaimed.

Tho i know very well that Taylor’s popularity is at an all time high right now and that 1989 has always been massive but to see these numbers after just one announcement?? Her power is truly unmatched   

 

1M first week is basically on lock atp and this having real potential to outdo the stolen version’s first week sales in 2023 is just crazy to think about.
