Nearly nine years after its enormous chart debut, 1989 stands atop her discography in terms of multi-metric consumption. To date, no Swift album has earned more equivalent album units – which comprise album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA) – than 1989, with 12.3 million units, according to Luminate.

That's a massive jump from the 11.4M units it was at last November. :deadbanana2:

1989 selling more than a million a year now

I know the TVs don’t combine for Billboard charts or RIAA certain but I feel like 1989 might reach 20m combined in the long run :jonny2:

If there was no TV, this would be close to 15M by mid-decade

In the long run, considering one is barely Top 200 and the other is #16 last week. :gaycat2:

But that's never happening with the TV. Anyways!

It's doing 1m per year lol. It's a shame the re-recording are gonna kill those stolen albums total sales

There's NO WAY she's not doing 1M+ for the TV version first week :toofunny3:

She failed at scoring Diamond in pure sales, the gp said NO even with all the hype.

Diamond being Taylor's standard for the GP saying yes. I guess that truly says it all. :clap3:

Exactly, they didn't see value in the album, so there's nothing left but to cling to streaming.

They need to just certify the album diamond so she can accompany other legends. I get it there's bad blood but this is probably the last women to have double diamond status

Whitney

Madonna

Mariah

Shania

Celine

Britney

Adele

The chicks

Taylor needs to join

1989 + 1989 TV probably passing 21 by the end of next year is absolutely wild :deadbanana2:
