I do kind of expect ****! to have a shot at #1 at this point. Most of her prior AM #1s went #1; the only ones that didn’t were blocked by the lead single of their own album. With the digital single, it should soar past the other 1989 tracks on the Hot 100 as long as it’s also the top track on Spotify. I think the only real question is whether it overcomes Cruel Summer’s radio points, and that should be doable since CS isn’t too incredibly strong and a rebalance just occurred. I don’t know enough about what kind of streams and sales it needs, but ****! is off to a very strong start and I’m excited to see Hot 100 predictions play out.
