I'm sorry, but you need a hearing test if you think Style TV sounds the same as the MAGICAL original.

I'm just listening through my crappy phone speaker rn and the difference is still apparent. With headphones on, it's night and day.

Oh girl asking me to rank ANYTHING is an impossibility since for the first 10 listens it'll change every time. However, I had Say Don't Go stuck in my head at the gym this morning (so I just listened to it over and over) and it was really cute :gaycat4:

NTWDT is not getting the credit it's due, and I love an underdog so I'll call that #2 for now, then probably IION, then ****, then Subaru Lesbians (thanks miss @Golden Hour) last. I think SL requires the deepest lyrical fathoming, so it'll just take time. I do love them all, though.

As for the main album, I regret a few of my hasty breakdowns from the leaks yesterday, I really should have known better. That being said, the Bad Blood pre-chorus is still weak and the New Romantics chorus was put in the wrong spot in the mix.

SUBARU LESBIANS I HATE Y’ALL :ahh:

Did you hear the 12th note that was held for .03 seconds longer and the pitch of note 37 was a quarter sharper??? You can also tell that Taylor didn’t take a sip of Diet Coke or take in the same amount of oxygen prior to the first note. It’s a completely different song and ruined!!!

I've never been this type of fan, I've never found stark differences between TVs and original that made the songs worse, even on ones that most people find bad like Never Ever, Trouble and Enchanted, I've grown accustomed to each one of them

Style is the first one where I do notice various larger differences with the Og that make me prefer the latter by a long shot. I think it's a worse (not unlistenable, but worse) version of the song and the original is infinitely better for me. Can I have that opinion or is it illegal? lol

I've made my sister, who is more of a casual Taylor fan, listen to it and she noticed right away something was off.

She did an amazing job on the rest of the songs, which are either on par or upgrading the original (NR is listenable to me, even if the Og is better anyways but just for the chorus)

as far as STF TV, the vocal is really really dry. there isn’t even a drop of reverb or delay on it. that’s probably what it is. also, when people vinyl rip they usually don’t do it right so it’s likely ripped in mono and not stereo :chick3:

slvt is a perfect single to debut at #10 then depart next week :pancake:

the new "I-I-I-I" on I Know Places eats. I love the vocal distortion and don't care what anyone says.
