Hector
According to Sony Corp‘s results, Sony Music Entertainment‘s ten biggest recorded music projects in calendar Q2 2023 quarter (ex-artists signed in Japan), in order of global revenue generation, were as below. One interesting tidbit from this list: The Top 3 are exactly the same as in Sony’s previous fiscal quarter (calendar Q1 2023): SZA, SOS Miley Cyrus, Endless Summer Vacation Harry Styles, Harry’s House Luke Combs, Gettin’ Old Daft Punk, Random Access Memories Foo Fighters But Here We Are Beyoncé, RENAISSANCE Lil Durk, Almost Healed Depeche Mode, Memento Mor Harry Styles, Fine Line https://www.musicbusinessworldwide.com/sony-generated-2-28bn-from-recorded-music-and-publishing-in-calendar-q2-up-12-5-yoy/ So much for ATRL calling Endless Summer Vacation a flop Very impressive to see Daft Punk, Beyoncé, and Depeche Mode in the top 10 all for different reasons

Blue Rose
We really need a proper SZA & Bey collab. Sony needs to force them
spiritboy
Great for all artists involved but it's really fantastic to see Depeche Mode there.

theoghon
Random Access Memories you will ALWAYS be famous omfg I CANNOT with how Mr Harry STAYS selling like hotcakes...Sony/Columbia struck gold with that one especially with how FL is sorta a modern classic and consistently tops Amazon's vinyl sales charts
Scars
Wow at Depeche Mode, catalog consumption is really where the money is at these days. Flowers alone clearly made enough money for Columbia to the point they couldn't care less about Miley not bothering to promote the album. It sucks for the fans, but they're probably more than satisfied with what they've already made.
Nashe
Flowers is a monstrous global hit, not really surprising to me that it made more profit than other acts' entire albums.
