Carly has the perfect level of fame IMO. She has fans, she tours, she does music, etc. but she's not harassed every minute like celebs like Britney and Gaga

Yeah that’s also true, but she still is very underrated but like I said she seems to be content.

"undebuts" that makes no sense... why is this wording being used? lol

She has a dedicated fanbase that goes hard on her and will go to her concerts/festivals whenever she decides to tour. She is set for life :clap3:

Carly Rae Jepsen's latest effort, "The Loveliest Time", officially undebuted on Billboard 200. It's her first record to have negative chart entry in USA.

US Top Current Album Sales : #72

that's not even accurate because Dedicated Side B also didn't chart.

That's really crazy how in just a year she was charting in the top 20 to not at all, how does this happen?

Not really, this is typical for her B sides:

EMOTION: #16

EMOTION Side B: #62

Dedicated: #18

Dedicated Side B: N/A

The Loneliest Time: #19

The Loveliest Time: N/A

So it make real sense. :clap3:

She's #2 behind Padam on the Last FM Gay Charts

So it'll be okay.

I’m surprised she continues to release these B side albums when they don’t sell. :gaycat6:

The one hit wonder definition also isn't correct for her since I Really Like You and Good Time were hits as well. The album is incredible, her albums do well for the position she is in and she is a successful touring act. She is in a position in her career many artists would kill for, have a die hard dedicated touring audience who sells out venues and buys your physical albums when they are released. Artistic freedom to release and develop whatever music she likes, down to releasing a full companion album of outtakes after every album. She isn't restrained by label expectations of smash hits or prevented from releasing because she didn't get one. You just don't know what you are talking about.

There was nothing to sell because the physical album only comes out next month. She releases them because she enjoys them and so do the fans, there is nothing wrong with having new music and she does it for the music.

You can buy the album on iTunes and stream it too.  It’s not being streamed either. :gaycat6:

It is doing better in streams than Dedicated Side B did at the same point and Kollage had a bit of a viral TikTok video.

isn’t kollage gaining traction?

that plus incoming physicals should give it a boost

I find it's hard to believe considering her latest effort, which was released last year, debuted at #19. Why the sudden fall?

So that explains why she didn't debut. No physical album and artists like she won't do good in sale.

it's explained in this thread. No physicals. It's a side b project so she kind of just threw it on streaming with no promo.
