blown away Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 I love this, it's quite addictive. It feels very early 2000's. This is a bit what Miley was trying to do with River, but failed to do.

I guess releasing the three before the album is their way of telling the fans that whether you’re a poplivia, poprocklivia or balladlivia fan, there’s something for you in the album. GUTS is sour on steroids, I fear. GUTS is gonna make SOUR feel like it's child's play in comparison, I fear. Poor ha! I mean, everything that came out of GUTS so far feels like a high production value versions of her SOUR tracks (e.g., Vampire-DL, BIR?-Brutal). Like you can REALLY tell she has more budget this time around and utilized that to her advantage. Her compositions also got more complex and is more refined and better executed as well. Olivia is making me stan so hard this era (thank u, Bad Idea!) 1 1

Chemist Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 I don't get people saying this sounds early 00's. Which song in the early 00's sounded like this? Good for you did (Paramore, Avril) This is 100% 90's music
jijie101 Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 What are y'all predictions of the Spotify numbers? I predict 5M.
Vilko Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 For a mainstream pop artist, this sounds very original (non-generic) and also kinda cool... That being said I lack a memorable melody or element (especially the chorus is monotonous) and thus I don't like the song very much... Kudos to her though for actually making the mainstream pop music less basic.
jijie101 Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 She jumped 27 spots and was the 18th most streamed artist yesterday. BIR probably did somewhere around 6M.

drivers license Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 i hope this debuts top 5 though since V has 2 songs. Jungkook will definitely block them either way. BTS solo stans are messy. i see JK stans holding streaming parties so JK keeps the #1 and blocks V
