There is nothing generic about this song.  The lyrics might be a bit generic but the production is not generic pop at all

besides it being similar to brutal by olivia, its typical pop teen formula. it is great production, but its not 'not generic pop'. every generation gets this.

Perhaps the fact that the structure of Vampire is quite literally the same as DL  She wasn’t exactly subtle about it.

Every time people say it sounds like Brutal I go a bit crazy The two songs are not remotely similar. If you need to compare it to something from Sour, there's jealousy, jealousy which sounds much closer to this.
