:msmarvel:she delivered. I like this better than Vampire. I also feel like this sounds like something Kesha could record + put into her new album,"GAG ORDER"

The sour 2.0 allegations aren't making sense to me. While this song may be in the same genre as brutal and also g4u in a way, it's leaps and bounds better.

Guts will make sour look like a rushed project me thinks with the quality we've seen so far:clap3:

One of the top comments is calling it “generic pop”   Serving ATRLer level of stupidity

What a terrible song. And it’s literally about the same thing all her songs are about. The Alanis comparison is embarrassing.

she can be alanis if she works on her writing and adds more descriptive words more often. shes giving teens same what alanis was giving at her time.

generation between alanis and olivia had avril, but avril lacked maturity in her career (never progressed).

alanis

I want you to know, that I am happy for you
I wish nothing but the best for you both
An older version of me
Is she perverted like me?
Would she go down on you in a theater?
Does she speak eloquently
And would she have your baby?
I'm sure she'd make a really excellent mother

More I listen to this, more I hear Avril’s “Girlfriend” and I say that as an compliment:bird:

There is nothing generic about this song.  The lyrics might be a bit generic but the production is not generic pop at all

besides it being similar to brutal by olivia, its typical pop teen formula. it is great production, but its not 'not generic pop'. every generation gets this.

example of a song olivia is copying in this case (btw i mean it as a compliment, im not shading her or dragging her)

I'd like to believe that her followers on ig are mostly kids lol. It's like they live in a different bubble there.

And when I say kids, I mean 12 and below.  so far, gen z is loving it on tiktok.

Perhaps the fact that the structure of Vampire is quite literally the same as DL :cm: She wasn’t exactly subtle about it.

Breakout and Here We Go Again album were those JAMS. The girls who get it get it :jonny:

Every time people say it sounds like Brutal I go a bit crazy :rip: The two songs are not remotely similar. If you need to compare it to something from Sour, there's jealousy, jealousy which sounds much closer to this.

This, when I first heard it, it sounded like a mix of G4U and JJ to me. Better than both tho!

All the negative coments are made by 20-35 y/o men :rip:Look at all the profile pictures, its kinda creepy :biblio: Like why does she have so many older men following her

It's rlly good :jonny5: If 'Sour' was an ode to 00s pop-rock, this album will be a deep dive into the mid-90s rock scene. Excited to see what she serves this time around :clap3:

That was the most obvious comparison for me as well. Except this is better.  :gaycat:
