It's a cute song, very catchy. I like it better than vampire.  As others have mentioned it's giving 2000's teen movie and that's not a bad thing lol.  She's not taking herself too seriously which is refreshing.

i think the star of the show here is dan's production...he really is such a smart and creative producer and i think his work elevates the song. the writing is cute and i like that she's experimenting with her sound, but i think the charm wears off halfway through the song and then it gets boring. still! good for her for doing something different and fun.
