i forgot where that & g4u debuted but both weren’t high, and that was before she established a bigger fanbase. the social media interactions for this doesn’t seem so low compared to vampire so i don’t see it doing half its numbers. let’s see…

 

i just do miss her doing traditional promos. that’s what was so exciting during SOUR era. and they made it work during a pandemic for crying out loud

when deja vu debuted, DL was still charting  at #4 with 3.8M streams, while DV charted at #8 with 3.3M streams. BIR should do more than what vampire is doing right now, but I don't see it debuting with close to vampire debut streams (9M-ish). But for sure, its first day won't be its peak..

wasn’t her 9m-ish almost 10m though? anyway that 8m i guessed would be like the max, 7m is still i think where it’d be. but if y’all are expecting 5m for this, then i’d be worried for the GUTS first week streams

This is... alright. I really like the chorus but the verses/pre-chorus is kinda messy. I get the sing-talking trend but it didn't need to be done for the full verses. I have a feeling the music video may elevate it though.

5M-ish for second/promo single is not even bad? when we have girlies the last couple of months debuting with 3M-ish for a comeback single following a huge era. I guess the standards for Olivia is really that high.

the fact that atrl was predicting crazy numbers for vampire… when in hindsight the hype of it pre-release wasn’t really all that

 

but i guess things will settle down when GUTS arrives & people would stop expecting her to pull a g4u each & every time. because that’s just not realistic

This is very Wet Leg/poppier Le Tigre, I dig it. The talking parts are very Kesha. Sounds like something you'd hear on the soundtrack of a 00s teen comedy film. 

I much prefer vampire first listen but I appreciate her dedication to this rockier Y2K stuff. The reactions (at least on twitter) seem to be pretty divisive though so I wonder how it'll perform
