My hair is neck length and I love it. I only had it really short when I was a kid but after I went long I never went back. It also wouldn't fit my face at all.

I really think it depends on the face structure, hair type and good hygiene & hair care though. Some guys with longer hair absolutely cannot pull it off, some because of it just not fitting their face while others because they didn't take proper care of their hair at all. A friend of mine told me he wanted it long because of my hair but when he went for it he didn't take care of it and it still looks bad.

One thing that I can admit is that I am seeing more and more younger guys with neck & shoulder length hair. When I was in high school I was the only guy with longer hair and now when I walk past where I went to school there is a lot of them rocking it. Glad that there is a bit more variation now instead of just the completely buzzed undercut that was so popular.

I think for me it also depends on the type of hair, if you have straight hair then I prefer it shorter, with curly hair I don't have any problem if you have it a little longer, like the guy in the pic, but not any longer than that.

It depends on the hair. I hate guys with long straigt hair especially if its been straightened. 
 

but long curly hair is hot. Or long wavy hair. I myself have pretty long curly 3c hair that is a very curly fro

I have long hair so I'm biased, but I do think it very much depends on not only a guys looks but also his personality/how he carries himself. Its not for eveyrone

Also a lot of guys dont take care of their hair which gives all guys with long hair a rep for being like incels or dirty hippies
