This doesn’t really make sense… Fast Car has already peaked on Country and its overall updates are smaller than Cruel Summer. I know pop radio is the bigger format Cruel Summer is on but that’s the end all for it peaking there. You make it seem like Fast Car is still gaining hard which it’s not.

you making it look like Cruel Summer and Fast Car are at the same points. There's a 23 points gap. Cruel Summer should be gaining hard to surpass this difference, since Fast Car is also not dropping in points. Both are peaking at the same time.

The song has been out for 4 years, so it's possible that she had the video filmed for CS all along, but was just waiting for a good time to release it.

A few possibilities: 1) it's a tour video 2) something was shot back in 2019/2020 before the single release was scrapped 3) she shot her scenes during one of her multi-day breaks between tour stops (hell, she's even been in the recording studio during tour stops)

I never made it seem like they were near the same points… Fast Car obviously has an advantage with the support of Country radio. You just seem super pressed about Cruel Summer

Anyways, I’m so excited to see Cruel Summer top 3 next week and continuing to climb on Spotify.  Hoping Fast Car and Cruel Summer can both get a week on top!
