I just came across this and it made me a bit sad for her. I'm glad someone so talented and hard working like her is getting this success and recognition, but I hope she has good people in her team taking care of her right now. I've been watching a couple of her interviews and she was pretty open about struggling mentally so this quick rise to fame must be a lot.

Album Is 15 for 15 (justice for LMA!) amazing. Best debut since maybe SAWAYAMA tbqh

 

I'm so happy people are catching onto her. I knew PPC but she had nothing else good out so she fell off for me until NIM, and I've been obsessed ever since

this has been in my apple music library since the day it was released and I finally decided just now that it's time for me to give it a PROPER first listen

 

I've heard some of these songs in passing/from friends and I already enjoy them so I know I'll enjoy this whole project!!

I can't believe some people are turning their backs on her just because she showed her vulnerable side onstage for a few seconds   The internet loves talking about how pop stars don't hustle anymore. I think post-Gaga, her and Doja are the closest ones we've got to that kind. Except that Doja doesn't seem to be taking it seriously and is veering away from superstar status on purpose? Or am I wrong? Enlighten me please. 

Always rooting for Chappell. After Midnight deserves to snowball into a massive hit.

on first listen, the only two songs that didn't quite hit were Casual and My Kink Is Karma, but I can see those two growing with time...

 

otherwise I'm so thrilled by this album, she's got Lene Lovich vibes on some songs here

I bought the vinyl at a local record store about a week ago without listening to any of the songs and it was the best decision ever. My only reference going into the album was Good Luck, Babe! 
 

so happy she went top 10. It's crazy to see an album rise like that. Billboard mentioned the last woman to have her album reach Top 10 without debuting there is Doja with Hot Pink. Which according to them only reached the top 10 because of the Say So remix. So I wonder who was truly the last to reach the top 10 months after release.
