What an expected surprise find at the end of the year. She is giving me early Gaga vibes but more indie  Great vocals, big stage presence, campy, energetic, has an artistic eye for visuals when the budget is there like Casual music video. And an LGBT icon-worthy already. She should blow up more opening for Olivia Rodrigo. Such a diverse tracklist with very catchy bangers and ballads. Surprised ATRL does not stan more but she is not promoted that well. And she can do splits? We have no choice but to stan. She brings it all to the table

 

Also relatable to me with her story of moving to a big city and having a record deal but then being dropped because of Covid and having to move back to Missouri. Then coming back and succeeding more than ever. Also a bit like Gaga's first record deal story

Definitely one of my favorite albums of the year. I’m glad more people are discovering her.  It’s hard to believe this album was produced by the same guy who produced both Olivia Rodrigo albums. His work with Chappell has more sonic variation.

It was still a huge success for her at this stage of her career. I think she needs to keep up the momentum tho and not let too much time go in between this and CR2; the next album is more.important I think.
