[The Next Day]

It's great to see that people liked it. I must say that it felt very wholesome and fun, the drama isn't as turned up high like the US version. If the ending song dance on the runway feels real and celebratory, I know it was a great episode and I had this feeling here.

 

My money is definetly on Pandora Nox, if she serves variety she will have no problem getting to the finale. I'm also in love with Barbie Q, absolutely my type of person out of drag and with the right personality. Loved the moment with her and Keely Hilton.

 

I'm really excited to see how the competition and the relationships will develop. Of course I like myself some drama, but I hope the show stays organic and doesn't brutally force drama. The group seems to have great chemistry, I don't want them to ruin that.

 

Now, finally, of course there are some teeting problems. I don't understand why they show the blank stares of the judges during the runway, hate that. I like the hosts, some things just feel a bit off and awkward, but that will fix itself in future seasons with the experience.

I don’t see it for Miss Loreley unfortunately, I’m also expecting one of the last two bottoms to lipsync again next episode. 
 

I like Tessa though, she reminds me of Tia Kofi kinda.

Barbie Q is so fake  Crying about how proud she is that thousands of kids in Bolivia will see him on.. Drag Race Germany. 
Her runway look also sucked. The outfit was very much copied from an Austrian designer and the head piece looked like arts and crafts.

She was the guest on the public viewing I went to on tuesday and actually talked about that! So it's not like she just straight up copied it, she was very much paying homage.

Finally caught up on the first episode and I REALLY enjoyed the premiere  

 

The cast is really cool! Fun, diverse, and polished. I'm actually interested to see what most of them have to bring.

 

I also think the judging was pretty good this week.

The winner and tops were spot on. Metamorkid did well too, wish there could've been 4 tops, but the 3 that were there for sure deserved. 

As for the bottoms, I thought it should've been Nikita and Tessa lipsyncing. I also initially thought Naomy could've been low instead of Victoria, but those two were close.

 

The lipsync was fun and solid, though a little messy. Not double save worthy, but I'm not mad at them pulling this on EP1, just so that we can see more of the queens. I think Tessa did a bit better, even though for me she screams first out.

Loved the second episode, this cast is really entertaining to watch.

 

Pandora was definitely robbed of a second win, she's in a league of her own. Loreley, Tessa and Metamorkid's looks were all really good, but none of their looks was as intricate and polished as Pandora's. Naomy and Nikita also had really strong outfits, in all honesty everyone did good except for the bottom two.

 

Victoria and Barbie... Oooh lord, what a mess. Awful runways and awful lip syncs, I would've sent them both home.

It was so lovely but incredibly crowded! They didn't expect the turnout - there were around 300 people there. 

For today they set up a lot of seats so it should better. Also changed the arrangement of the sound setup, since last week that just didn't work for the amount of people. Atmosphere was great though! Today there's also a Karaoke party following the viewing.

Wish I could go, but unfortunately work says no today.

That was definetly a lip-sync. Between the psycho overacting (the blood was just too much) and not knowing the words (BARBIE Q I WAS ROOTING FOR YOU!), I wasn't thrilled by either of them.

But another great episode, I love that the feel-good vibe continues. I don't need all the "she was great!" confessionals, but I love how all the shade is not toxic. Like I said, the group has great chemistry. And I definetly start to like the hosts, I can really see Barbie Breakout as a great mentor in the show. A great pick for the main host. The three of them are kind of an odd group and I like that.

Yeah this. I felt a little "We can't let her win every challenge" vibe to avoid favouritism, even though Loreley did amazing as well. I would still put all my money on Pandora to win this. I'm excited to see how she will do in the Rusical, but honestly, her runway alone could probably save her even if she bombs. If she doesn't win the season then only because she's already outgrown this format. I know it's very early in the season, but I feel like she would cause serious damage in All Stars.

This was another great episode, the girls ATE the design challenge, but the judging was not my favorite...

 

How was Nikita not in the bottom? Her and Barbie were clearly the weakest, at least for me.

 

There were a lot of great outfits, so tops were hard. I think I liked Lorelei / Naomy / Yvonne the most and either of the three could've won. Metamorkid and Tessa had really strong looks too. Now Pandora... I live for her, but that was not a top look for me. It was a great look overall, but for it being a design challenge, there just wasn't enough design there for me, especially considering how strong the other girls were. 

 

I am GAGGED at Barbie being first out... I really thought she would make it far. But yeah, to be fair, her outfit was horrible and Victoria did destroy her in the lipsync (though both of them were not great).

I hate how much they speak English and it is obviously encouraged by the production to attract international viewers. If you want to have a judge who cannot speak German, why don't you hire Michelle directly?

Meta told us that Victoria basically had a whole storyline throughout and the whole lipsync was paced really well and wasn’t as anticlimactic and wild as they edited it to look like .

 

Also they all went on stage to hug Barbie and make sure she was okay, Barbie apparently also had a exit-line but they edited it all out

I had high hopes for Lele but she kinda disappointed me. Her self made look from last week was SO GOOD. 

 

Meta won this week for me. The most polished, clean and well executed look of the night. 
Pandora is on another level. 
 

Naomy keeps serving nothing and I kinda live for how delusional she is.

This makes sense tbh. I like the idea but the execution just looked messy, makes perfect sense that that was due to the editing.

And the exit felt weird as hell too, after the sashay I got zero vibes from Barbie Q that she was so pissed that she wouldn't even turn around again. But they cut from her little encouragment gesture straight to her being in the very corner of the stage, and for what?

I think the fetish theme for a runway would've been amazing if they were able to brought looks from home, it would've slayed harder, but still, a great episode.

 

I wonder if they are not gonna have more guest judges since this was recorded in Colombia and probably it was hard for them to be bringing people from another continent for each episode.

Such a charming group of girls! (Brazil can't relate) And I'm really warming up to Barbie Breakout. She gives great critique and seems to really care about the girls. She's giving Supremme Deluxe (Season 1-2 only).

Germany keeps raising the bar with every episode, damn! 

 

Another snub (for a high this time) for my girl Pandora I fear, the way I gasped when I saw her come out as a drag king (and an incredibly well executed one no less)! Deserving winner, although Nikita and Kelly had excellent vocal performances (the runways were not it though).

 

Tessa didn't deserve to be bottom 2, but after seeing that lip sync... Yes ma'am! She's such a lovable queen, I hope she has a dark horse storyline and goes all the way because she's a star, I know one when I see it!

20 minutes into episode 3 and I'm just so proud of these girls and Barbie. What a joy to see. I'm so happy this season is GOOD!
