HardBambi Posted July 31, 2023 Posted July 31, 2023 The American wannabes, democrats and republicans alike, have dropped their political and religious beliefs and just wanted to be Madonna during the like a virgin era:
Madonno Posted July 31, 2023 Posted July 31, 2023 Lol 2 diamonds singles against Fearless The answer is obvious, Like a Virgin for all
GreatestLoveofAll Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 Well Whitney's Whitney has all three beat so Better Album: OIDIA is pop perfection to me Biggest: LAV for all the records is set and its impact. it also wins best singles too tho love story is taylor's best song

All three have great singles runs (and some of my favourite music of all time). OIDIA was probably the biggest on release, as it did so well in it's first week and Britney was everywhere. However, LAV had huge longevity and had huge impact on both the music industry and Madonna's career. And then Fearless was huge as well, and you could say it had the longest longevity with TV but that's technically a separate album / era. Overall, LAV wins for me though. Honestly, nothing can compare to the longevity of an 80s album thanks to the introduction of multiple new formats (vinyls to cassettes to CDs, etc). Streaming might make it easy, though, if charts don’t start weeding out all of the fake streams and passive listening. 7 hours ago, leyaris11 said: Thanks, lady gaga fan. Such a weak attempt when @Century was objectively correct. Success: LAV > OIDIA > Fearless Quality: OIDIA > Fearless > LAV Singles: OIDIA > LAV > Fearless 1
Oktober Knight Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 You're either delusional or uneducated about musical history if you don't think LAV was the biggest album. 1
