ATRL Moderator Azulito Posted July 27, 2023 ATRL Moderator Posted July 27, 2023 Good for the corporations I guess but this really means nothing when people still can’t afford housing, education, and healthcare. 4 1
fememeist Posted July 27, 2023 Posted July 27, 2023 Okay, NEXT approve the student loan forgiveness plan.
Somnambulist Posted July 27, 2023 Posted July 27, 2023 This is pretty short sighted when the entire entertainment industry is about to be wrecked by AI unless a deal is struck. Enjoy it while it lasts I guess?
americanlife Posted July 27, 2023 Posted July 27, 2023 Thank you Eras Tour and Renaissance Tour will add to this a little bit too. Lots of artists are on tour right now.
Mark! Posted July 27, 2023 Posted July 27, 2023 I was gonna say Eras tour but it looks like the thread already did its job
If U Seek Amy Posted July 27, 2023 Posted July 27, 2023 Like others have said this is great for businesses and the government, but it doesn't mean a whole lot for the average American yet. I will say I have noticed prices on a lot of stuff I buy is coming down finally at least and I am spending less money. I have noticed my grocery and utility bills drop, takeout/restaurants have been cheaper for me, and some retail stuff is cheaper again. But most stuff is still on the higher end than it used to be (even if you account for average inflation). The biggest problem will continue to be rent/home buying for awhile but that is also coming down, just much less slowly. Plus debt payments resume soon which will also reburden many regardless. But it is somewhat reassuring to things slowly returning to a more normal state of being.

Bethenny Frankel Posted July 27, 2023 Posted July 27, 2023 Thank you Bidan, Taylor AND Bey. And Ava Max for her cute tour.
Marianah Adkins Posted July 30, 2023 Posted July 30, 2023 Its been obvious that US economy is going in an upswing. This is like the first quarters without any mask or any form of COVID restrictions. Barbenheimer performing as if there was no pandemic this past week is also a good sign that the economy is back on track
Sannie Posted July 31, 2023 Posted July 31, 2023 God, I wish us regular folk could experience this economic growth, but nooooo, capitalist greed is increasingly without any federal pushback so while the economy is doing better, we are not feeling the effects.
Gui Blackout Posted July 31, 2023 Posted July 31, 2023 Biden needs to hurry up and put Taylor's face on the dollar
