Life By You (early access) pushed back to March 2024

Early access should've been on September 2023, but mostly due to the overall feedback on the graphics (yes, the game looks ugly as ****), they decided to rework the project, and pushed back the early access to March 2024.

Good! There are a lot of interesting/fresh ideas being implemented, and it would have been DOA if early access looked that tragic. I feel more confident in the game as a whole knowing the team is actually taking what people are saying and trying to improve, instead of rushing to hit some deadline.

lmao i was watching vids on this yesterday and i was like are they gonna release this 2003 looking game??? it literally looks worse than sims 2 graphics like...

good, it was the graphics that wasn’t selling it for me

 

it looked like some kind of free rpg, very muddy quality and just… off? the way the camera moves too just doesn’t feel polished or smooth

I really wanted to get my hands on the Early Access, was looking forward to September.

I don't care about the graphics, they are fine for something still being developed.

Better than The Sims 4 Play-Doh graphics.

 

The ANIMATIONS are what need to be improved on significantly, if they could give us TS2 level of detail in animations that would be something.

 

So anybody know when Epic will refund?? Cause I wanna pre-order it again. As of now the game is still in my library??

No, so far it's just for PC, but they may add other platforms in the future.

I'm only into the magical gameplay aspects of Sims so this (and Paralives) don't have anything to offer me
