Peroxide Posted July 26, 2023 Posted July 26, 2023 As a Brit, I will never understand this. Just pay your employees a living wage, add service charge… etc

They simply refuse bc it's printed into americans brains that the customer has to pay for that. 4
Keter Posted July 26, 2023 Posted July 26, 2023 Apart from people with disabilities or those who are homebound, I do not understand the use of these services. I’m not paying some random third party to deliver my food that may never show up, might have a bite taken out of it, might be delivered by a serial killer, might lead to home invasion/assault cuz they didn’t get a $57 tip, etc. Just go get your damn food! 3 1
KatyPrismSpirit Posted July 26, 2023 Posted July 26, 2023 I'm so happy us Europeans don't tip. That stuff is mad corny 1
BOOMBAYAH Posted July 26, 2023 Posted July 26, 2023 The way they government have managed to pit people against each other instead of making them get together to demand decent minimum pay 2

bjorn Posted July 26, 2023 Posted July 26, 2023 Hope the customers sent this to however he’s employed too and he got fired asap! Disgusting behaviour
bjorn Posted July 26, 2023 Posted July 26, 2023 I’m sorry to say this but tip-defenders are such an American mentality
Daddy Posted July 26, 2023 Posted July 26, 2023 Americans are wild with their tip culture. Not a DoorDash delivery driver calling someone a ******* loser I gladly just go out, walk 3 minutes and get my food by myself. There's plenty around.

Right, are people that lazy that they can't get in their car and drive for 5-10 mins to the shop? I'm not paying extra for a delivery fee and item markups, plus the food's probably not even gonna be hot when you get it 1 1
Breathe On Moi Posted July 26, 2023 Posted July 26, 2023 this is what y’all get for ordering DoorDash, they’re gonna come beat ya asses

OrgVisual Posted July 26, 2023 Posted July 26, 2023 Can any Americans explain what's the delivery charge in there? I understand if the charge is very low and you would have to make up for it with tips. but if it's already like 5$ then no thanks 1
