Will the Barbie Soundtrack score an AOTY Grammy nomination?

Multiple songs are becoming hits thanks to the film's success and impact. Do you think it could score an AOTY nomination at the next Grammys?

No.  It is a horrible hodgepodge of songs that are not all that great. The movie's magic and success have nothing to do with the music so it is not a big deal.

 

I could see Billie's song getting some recognition just because it's Billie, and Nicki and Ice may get a Duo nomination because of Ice's relevance. Maybe even a win, tbh.

If A Star Is Born, Encanto, The Greatest Showman, Frozen didn't get an AOTY nom then I don't see it tbh. Maybe for soundtrack album and that's it. 

 

The songs might snatch individual noms in other categories, especially Billie's.

No it’s an ATROCIOUS soundtrack. The only decent songs are Billie’s and I am Ken

I think the closest "big/fun" film OST this reminds me of is the Suicide Squad OST, which was full of hits after hits AND all bops (much bigger ones than from Barbie I'd say). 

 

So I'd say no. But some individual songs have a slight chance.
