Fortunately his national campaign appears to be cratering. But like you said, that doesn't help undo any of the catastrophic damage he's done to Florida and will continue to do until 2026.

ot: While this is wholly unsurprising, it is despicable that he did this and that there's a loud group of people that support it too.

We started calling them Nazis so, naturally, they tried to normalize Nazism.

A despicable use of Meg Myers's brilliant cover of Kate Bush's Running Up That Hill that was for RDS.

If it was online any longer Elon Musk would have retweeted it.

That's a sonnenrad/sunwheel/black sun. A neo-Nazi put that symbol on his guns and other equipment in my country a few years ago. Then he travelled to 2 Mosques and killed 51 people. Don't let anyone tell you that they didn't know what that symbol means.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis' 2024 campaign fired an aide this week who secretly created and shared a pro-DeSantis video that featured the candidate at the center of a Sonnenrad, an ancient symbol appropriated by the Nazis and still used by some white supremacists.

Nate Hochman, a speechwriter on the DeSantis campaign and a former writer for National Review, created the video on his own and shared it through a pro-DeSantis Twitter account, according to a person familiar with the matter.

"Nate Hochman is no longer with the campaign. And we will not be commenting on him further," a DeSantis campaign official told Axios.
