Peanut butter and Jelly is the MSG. Why?

Peanut butter and Jelly is the Main Sandwich Girl. Why? She just always seems to serve quality and taste. The other sandwiches can’t relate tbh.

All I would eat as a kid was PB&J and to this day it's still my fave:alexz:

Not to mention the grape Uncrustables are my snack addiction :jonny5:

They are frozen but surorisingly do not get soggy! You take it out and thaw it or put it in the fridge to thaw and stay cool, they're good for kids lunches because by the time they eat lunch it's thawed out. I used to get them at school when I was younger and became obsessed with them :rip:

I know it’s specifically an American thing and it (for some reason) sounds nasty to many people outside of the states, but it’s truly one of the greatest sandwiches ever.

What? I don’t think it’s very common in Mexico, Jamaica, Panama, etc.

Wait, really? Why does people outside the US think it's gross? It's so simple but so satisfying.

I have no idea. But a lot of my international friends are repulsed when I defend it. They think it doesn’t make sense and sounds weird. :rip:

Frozen Uncrustables are next level. The Nutella frozen Uncrustables are also amazing.

I always have to control my temptation to buy a box / two boxes when I go grocery shopping because that box will last an hour max.

Can Americans explain what works so well about this?

And does "Jelly" mean "Jam"?

Cause I love jams, and I can theoretically see it tasting nice with PB. But... I just find this weird, not gross though.

Other American things like Apple Pie, Cheese Burgers, Soul Food I see the appeal of 100%: I'd love to try authentic soul food.

But PB&J seems to escape me.
