Stubhub: Taylor’s their best selling artist ever, outselling Beyonce 17 times

Imagine if she had also enabled dynamic pricing like others have. Nosebleeds selling for thousands of dollars, and probably still being bought.

Kudos to her for keeping her face value tickets relatively affordable, at least for A-list tour standards.

Sure, some tickets were sold at much higher prices at the begining but right now tickets for most shows are available at "regular" prices. Even resale tickets are not priced that high.

For Taylor shows even the tickets that were added later sell out in minutes in verified sales for which you need codes. There was never a general sale opened to the public, resale proces are much higher and still get bought at very high prices and she also plays more shows in general.

Taylor would have probably grossed much more with higher prices given that it's clear a lot of people are ready to pay for them.

The cheapest tickets in Chicago were 240 USD, for nosebleeds, go look now, the newly released tickets are 240, hardly "regular" pricing.  Imagine what the average ticket price for those two shows alone, probably close to 400-500 USD, maybe even more.  Just wait till the boxscores come out, you'll see why her ticketing was slower selling, just like for Taylor's last tour.

If she had 1.4M people buying tickets to her tour instead of 14M people, neither would Ticketmaster crash or tickets sell for $1000 USD in secondary market. 

 

But swifties who bought tickets from Ticketmaster paid even less since Taylor didn't inflate her prices with slow ticketing like Bey did

Scooter tried the same tactic for a brief second around Ariana Grande's Coachella performance (re: Ari's appearance fee vs. Beyoncé's Coachella fee), and it kinda backfired when people began to increasingly compare her overall performance to Beyoncé's "spectacle" in reviews.

In the world of boxing, Beyoncé is what is considered a "Pound-for-Pound" champion. The album sales (weight) might be different in comparison, but her stamina + winning record (artistic development + longevity) give her fans their money's worth and more with every fight.
