Wait so she really did sign off on this and was 100% aware of its release and the final product??? :biblio:

Yall have to stop infantilizing her. The girl is not developmentally challenged. She is “aware”.

I think you read that too literally. It had nothing to do with her being dumb or incapable. I literally followed it up saying I thought she was not contractually able to stop its release. It was a drag of her taste if anything :skull:

As it turns out, the song was mined from the duo’s archives. “Will is an incredible artist and partner,” Spears tells Vogue.

This just convinced me the entire “dogs come out” verse was AI generated & added more recently, just as it sounds.

I know people lately have been posting about how “good” Britney AI generated covers are - but any true fan can clearly tell the difference. It often overdoes her vocal nuances & applies them to odd places she wouldn’t/over does it.

Love my girl & I’m not bothered about new material - but the song is trash & will be rightfully filed away as such, along with everything on Britney Jean & Big Fat No.

Maybe that wasn't your intention but I think Ryan's point stands: Britney's agency was forcibly taken from her, given back, and we all still cannot accept that this is really Britney and this is what she wants.

Just... people have got to be more respectful.

The song is an abomination. It's quite funny seeing people claim to like it. Stanning really is serious business to some.

If you like this song, you literally must adore the Britney Jean album cuts cause they're the same quality.

Seriously. Of ALL the old unreleased songs she could’ve released… Strangest Love, Dangerous, Sippin’ On, ******* REBELLION… she had to release a BJ outtake :skull:

Time to pack up those conspiracy theories about Myah’s vocals, AI, her not being aware of the song, or whatever other ridiculous **** people have concocted to throw negativity on a song that’s camp/fun, doesn’t take itself too seriously and has a great message that ironically many of you could learn from if you actually listened

Now sis I love those songs you listed, but I feel like at this point they're gonna remain unreleased unless she releases a 'Rarities' album like Mariah did :emofish:

Not Vogue singling out It Should Be Easy as a notable collaboration betwixt the two  :deadbanana4:

Well, they just named all of their collabs, they're not gonna pretend it doesn't exists like the rest of us do :swan:

I get what she says about it being fun and camp, at first listen I was like 'what the hell is this' but after a few listens I got used to the atrocious diction :dies:

At the end of the day, she just wanted to help her gay friend out and throw him a bone. We can’t be too hard on mother for doing a favor for a homosexual right after pride month.

No doubt about that. It’s just frustrating because the quality of her unreleased material is insane, but we somehow ended up with… Miyobi :skull:

You spilled, her unreleased catalogue is amazing :jonnycat:

I would've preferred if she went with one of those tracks too, but MYB is still cute imo :emofish:

The charity work she has done for that man and most of her collabs in general.

Nnn not you calling this an “interview” :skull:

It literally screams Cade penning emails to major publications to somewhat promote this song

I was so sure Will was desperate for a hit and pulled it out of the archives and she had no contractual ability to stop it :skull:

Some of y'all conspiracy theorists that think Britney is held hostage and not aware that she is releasing music TERRIFY me an I am not joking :deadbanana:At this point these people should get a ban, this is too much trolling.

OT:

Love how she described it "fun, campy and edgy" cause that's exactly what it is. Yeah the mixing is messy but the song itself is a really fun bop and should not be taken more seriously than what it is.

Definitely! I’ve come to the conclusion that we should view MYB as nothing but our charitable queen being “okay” with putting it out there and Will doing all the work himself (including the computer generated vocals for her parts ddd).
