Spotify's "Today's Top Hits" Playlist Data Revealed: Top 5 Artists, Songs, & More!

As part of the launch of the new social media platforms created for their biggest playlist, Today's Top Hits, Spotify has released some data about the most streamed songs and artists from the playlist, among other things.

Random fact that I just discovered: Out of the 30 most streamed artists of all time on Spotify (he is #24) he is the only one doing less than 10M daily streams currently.

I think it works both ways, though. 

Of course that it's mutual, but it had to start with something. OP didn't note this, but it's not the first time they put a raport like this. The previous one was about 2 years ago and back the 2 pop girls songs in top 5 most streamed tracks from TTH were Bad Guy and Don't Start Now - which provided an explanation to why both Billie and Dua get that push continuously.

 

Interestingly two other songs with some of the longest TTH residencies were Someone You Loved and Before You Go by Lewis Capaldi, but he isn't noted here anymore, cause his following releases failed to match the stats. Additionally people rarely note how massive of TTH push Doja received in Planet Her era and she is also not in these tops. I guess TTH listeners also create some of a niche that likes particular sound/artists more compared to entire platform/global charts.

cuz despite the weeknd, the catalog/daily streams of the other 4 from the top 5 are not impressive at all.

Shockingly, only 3.4M daily as a lead artist!
