She hasn’t been in a studio this year and she hasn’t recorded any background vocals. They may use her guide vocals as background vocals, but she’s not involved in this project and didn’t know anything about it. Plus, Myah is the second best background vocalist for Britney, after Britney herself. If it wasn’t for the BJ atrocity and they never gave her lead vocals, we probably wouldn’t hate her like we do. 1

The place was literally 1 stars too when fans found out the place.

She's always dragged and harassed by the fans when she posts something Britney related, so she wouldn't do it "for attention". She clearly promoted the song because she's somehow involved. I'm not saying it'll be another Britney Jean situation BUT I thought after the whole mess she wouldn't be let anywhere near a Britney Spears track again.

Because she gets paid as a guide singer when the demo gets bought. Most deals give you a paycheck for when you cut the demo initially (meaning Anthony Preston and Myah would have gotten paid in 2013 for recording it) and they also pay you when the demo is bought (meaning Myah and Anthony Preston were paid in 2023 when Britney and will recorded the song and bought the full rights to release it).
