Maybe Britney is just deliberately lowering expectations by releasing trash while she's secretly working on her Ray of Light that will hit everyone like a wrecking ball out of nowhere when it drops. The mastermind that she is :clap3:

The song isn't bad honestly but this is part of why I stopped stanning her (even tho I still and will always love her tbh). Everything is always so messy and haphazard. It gives the appearance that she doesn't care about her fans or career.

Either way, I kinda can see this blowing up esp on TikTok.

? The last album she released before the conservatorship was blackout 16 years ago. She was enslaved for 15 years girl obviously she would hate it.

I know so I don't hold a lot of it against her esp since what a lot of fans were speculating at that time ended up being true (even tho we didn't know if it was 100% true at the time).

But it seems like post c-ship it's still the same tho... everything still is messy. I feel like she needs a real solid team around her.

Manjobi is super disrespectful to her fans who actually care if she’s alright… I’ve always been indifferent to her but now I defo don’t like her at all.

I’m not justifying the conservatorship by any means, but let’s please not suddenly disregard ALL of her 2008-2020 work and act as if she didn’t release any high quality material during those years…

Why does this trash song has 166 pages? Was it really worth it? :rip: :biblio:

Because Britney is one of the last remaining living legends, so of course she still generates a lot of hype and buzz. It’s a shame she doesn’t view herself as legendary by making such questionable artistic choices, but that’s a different topic.

I AM THE ECONOMY :superman:

Everyone who take this song serious as a "Comeback" can mind their business.

HOLD ME CLOSER is epic compared to this yeah

The last time we had a questionable universally hated release (Britney Jean) it was followed by one of her best albums ever Glory.

Maybe history will repeat itself this time around and we have to remain hopeful? :gaycat4:

Did Britney even recorded it or was it that AI thing? :deadbanana2:

I actually fully believe Britney was nowhere near a mic in the creation of this song

Is she really remaining though? I loved her in the past but to be a “remaining living legend” I think you should still be releasing legendary songs or not releasing anything at all and still be talked about your old good discography? She isn't doing neither. I also don't think this song generated any hype or buzz outside of ATRL, last time she had any buzz it was about her hearing (which made me really happy since she's apparently free again). But she could've just denied and not allow this beyond trash of a song to be released.

She had a Top 10 hit last year in major markets like the US, UK, Australia, Canada, etc. Is Madonna not a living legend bc she's released garbage like Vulgar and Material Gworllllllll in the past year?
