“rUiNiNg HeR lEgAcY” is so dramatic, be serious. :rip:

I’m looking forward to it releasing tonight so I can listen on repeat after hearing it. Let Britney do whatever she wants and find other artists to stan, stop getting mad at her for not fulfilling your pop star fantasies anymore. It is NOT her fault you have expectations of her that she’s not obligated to fill to satisfy you.

If she wants to make fun boppy auto tune music to dance to, that’s her prerogative. Thank god she still even feels like doing music at all after everything that’s happened to her.

As if Britney actually had a hand in creating this :deadbanana2:

This really reminds me of the will.I.am song T.H.E (The Hardest Ever) with JLo, I liked that song at the time, but this is just so dated out of the gate, there’s a reason we left will.I.am’s solo career in 2013.

I’m anything but BAnon. I just feel like Britney had 0 participation in the process of creating this hence the terrible AI vocals.

It’s co-penned by Anthony Preston and Myah did the demo. Of course it’s from the Britney Jean sessions.

You have no proof she didn’t. If you’re familiar with Britney’s unreleased work, she loves quirky. Y’all love Mona Lisa and at the time it was very anti Britney Spears. She has never really been about consistent bubblegum pop.

Do Somethin’ was different too, she loves that song. It’s a campy thing. You don’t have to like it, but no need to convince yourself that Britney could never or that something is a conspiracy theory just because you’re not into it.

If it was a “return to Britney” type single from a mindset from two DECADES ago in her life, I’m sure you would have a different opinion. She’s in her 40s, she doesn’t GAF about the industry or anything else anymore. Your only choice is to get used to it or find another fave atp.

it's so obviously AI

OR it's even HEAVIER autotune than we're used to from Brit.  and at that point, can you really call it her voice?

should've jumped on the trend of songs being less than 2 min. I was over it after the first chorus

Are you genuinely comparing Do Somethin’ and Mona Lisa to this? Yeah, not gonna waste my time on any discussion with you

I don’t want to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but I simply refuse to believe Britney (aka the person who was the executive producer of Blackout) green-lit this AI GarageBand abomination.

Something is incredibly fishy about this release. I feel like it’s all Cade and will.i.am’s doing. No wonder Britney removed the promotional story from her Insta after like 2 hours and hasn’t acknowledged the song since.

lol i'm thinking something similar? it feels like they released this as an statement for all the world to be like ''ooh she's okay, nothing's wrong with her''

I really wanted to enjoy this to some extent but the repetitive parts of the song (which is like 80% of the song) and the vocal production is just intolerable.

i think it’s a cute bop but it should’ve been 2 minutes

Girl I really don’t care, you quoted me first. Stay mad, I’m just pointing out you throwing a tantrum over one song in her discography looks ridiculous.

This has been in the works since at least September 2022, per that interview will.i.am did with This Morning. Long before the Q Anon lunatics started saying she's secretly locked up.

Oh wow. I don't know what to think of this but it's definitely giving me old school BEP vibes. I could definitely hear Fergie singing Britney's part.

Yeah it would fit in with My Humps or Ima Be easy.

Outside of Britney’s truly ghastly vocals at parts, this song gets stuck in your head like crack. Monjabi was stuck in my head after first listen. The choir at the end was good too. It’s weird though how heavily processed William’s vocals are compared to Britney’s and even the production. It’s almost as if William took his verses from another song…

Honestly, those of you who keep defending this AI mess and forcing yourself to like it kinda deserve an entire album produced by will.i.am and his AI pack in 2024 x
