Here's the thing, I don't know how many of you posting here are men but, most of the times for women who are feeling very low, any comment about how they have gained weight is gonna feel like they're piercing your heart. She probably is emotionally unwell right now or maybe just going through some stuff, professionally things aren't going well, etc.

In her mind this is probably very hurtful and a negative thing to say and bigger than it is, like when women ask "do I look fat?" and they still don't expect that "yes" no matter how honest it is. She will realize soon enough she was being childish because she was hurt. It happens to everyone.

That’s all fine and dandy, but that’s not an excuse to post personal private messages to the public so he (who really didn’t even do anything wrong) can get dragged by strangers who don’t even know him, all so strangers can compliment her with “WerQ queeeeen!” And “you GO girl!!”
