a bona fide pop classic  truly an event for pop culture, and it instantly solidified her as someone to pay attention to. she COMMANDED the GP, and they listened. this song was everywhere, and still holds up as an example of pop perfection. the dance, the music video, the excellent bi-coded lyrics, the flawless production and melodies… it felt so effortless. she was born to be a star tbh
