Freakshowvato Posted September 26, 2023 Posted September 26, 2023 Debuted pretty decently for a GH… like #60 but top 5 on pure sellers I think. If it had gotten better streams it wouldve surprised us all. This was a cute album and at least it got decent pure sales. It was bare minimum work, Demi just redid vocals and Oak redid the production, for 10 songs. It still feels like an inspired project and it’s cute to have an album by Demi with so many eras represented. It helped given some of the OG songs attention too (ironically more than the RV songs). Im so proud! Im excited for the next studio album tho after HOLYFVCK, Im craving original material. 1

I think technically she has one more album under contract… but she can always re negotiate the contract and have them mutually agree she can leave (happened with Olivia O’Brien)… or maybe do a Christmas album that they always wanted and get out of it 🤣 I really feel she made this album partly for business reasons Demi’s new management is now initiating their work with Demi so I think the next few weeks will be meetings and sorting out what she wants her career to look like and what her goals are moving forward. Hopefully her new manager Brandon recognizes Island is the main problem in why her music is not adequately promoted (both on radio + streaming) Edited September 26, 2023 by Freakshowvato 1

Hopefully her new manager Brandon recognizes Island is the main problem in why her music is not adequately promoted (both on radio + streaming) Hopefully she isn't required to do one more album, I want her to leave Island (as everyone else does) sooooooooo bad! I wonder who she'll try to go with if she leaves Island. I really hope Brandon handles her good and helps put her in the right direction. Really hoping her new album will be well promoted and have singles sent to radio. Also, want more music videos this next era. 4 would be ideal. Visuals, promotion and a solid album and single choices. I wish we had an idea when she'll be releasing or talking about the new single, I'm literally dying to know. 1
Mr. Duff Posted September 26, 2023 Posted September 26, 2023 Skyscraper, Neon Lights and Give Your Heart a Break are surprisingly my trinity for this project 1
thatsmydemi Posted September 26, 2023 Posted September 26, 2023 Something tells me she's not leaving Island anytime soon. We'll see. I didn't like that post from Island in which they posted a video of Demi writing in one of their walls. It seems like she's more than content with them and doesn't plan on leaving.

BlazingLovatic Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 I hope Demi never works with Oaks team again - definitely not for Rock singles at the least, because he is a bad rock producer / has little experience as one All this criticism seems very valid: https://reddit.com/r/audioengineering/s/388wcz9sIl

Ivan_brit Posted October 3, 2023 Posted October 3, 2023 Bes Female Single Of The Year ROUND 01 Demi's Swine & Still Alive at this year tournament, could she win this year? VOTE HERE: Good luck to Demetria!
RadioactiveLights Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 Someone needs to remind Demi that a RDC solo exists, because I saw an interview where she says the reason why the Revamped version didn't come out is because they didn't know what to do with the bridge 1 1

thatsmydemi Posted October 10, 2023 Posted October 10, 2023 After a few weeks listening, here are some thoughts: - Tell Me You Love Me (RV) is easily the best track. - La La Land, TMYLM, Skyscraper, SNS, Heart Attack, Neon Lights, Confident and GYHAB are as good or even better than the original versions. Only Don't Forget and Cool for the Summer Rock Versions are worse. - Revamped shouldn't have been marketed as a brand new album but since this is an EP, they should've added either a brand new song or an unreleased track (Shut up and Love Me) to push a single with both radio support and a music video. - Although some people think Revamped should've happened before Holy ****, I do see the point of releasing it now. If she had released it before HF, it would've felt less authentic. Like she's just turning her pop hits into rock for a quick era and then she'll bounce back to chasing pop hits.

Nothing really comes close to Holy ****, and Oak produced everything too. Edited October 10, 2023 by thatsmydemi
thatsmydemi Posted November 29, 2023 Posted November 29, 2023 Don't Forget RV is hitting extra hard lately That note change is brilliant.
VictorJustino Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 I feel this album was made to bring attention to her again for the Old fans that didnt connect with her music on these last years. Hope the next one receives a good promotion

I kinda feel that this was Something her new team wanted to recreate her image. And right now, she's really good
