thatsmydemi Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 Tell Me You Love Me The production is incredible
thatsmydemi Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 The production on Neon Lights is CRAAAAZY
J-esper Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 (edited) I actually really like this, i wouldnt mind if Demi continues recording and released a album tracks/fan favorite addition to this where non-singles get the same treatment. A lot of the discography outside of the singles has the potential. I mean Two Pieces (Rock Version) would eat Edited September 15, 2023 by J-esper
thatsmydemi Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 (edited) She turned LLL and GYHAB into ROCK BANGERS Okay, the vocal production isn't that big of a problem outside TMYLM and Don't Forget. Thanks God. I'm genuinely impressed with this. I was so scared the vocal production was going to ruin everything but it's not that bad outside 2 or 3 tracks. Although overall it feels a bit rushed. The production on certain tracks was amazing (TMYLM, Neon Lights especially). Overall: a solid 8/10 greatest hits record. Edited September 15, 2023 by thatsmydemi
Ivan_brit Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 Overall I got nostalgic with all this Demi hits, there are very good parts at almost every song, also they overproduced in some parts of some songs But I aprecciate this idea of instead of just releasing a GH she did a rock version of her songs
roman19911 Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 OMG I always hated Neon Lights, but the Rock version is everything
pinkbowvintage Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 this is a great collection. SKYSCRAPER gave me a new appreciation for the song she sounds flawless on every track and it all flows really well 1
Rylary Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 Have heard a few so far and they are really good. Skyscrapper rock version is just incredible!!!
Acuminatus Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 (edited) La La Land was produced very well. Made some changes but it was quite close to the original. Why did they ruin Don't Forget with that echoey effect? Oak needs to be dumped after this. While the project was good, with Demi's voice it could have been even better. ReachOut Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 (edited) Tell Me You Love Me is an upgrade It's flawless! Neon Lights was fun, maybe too much noise at the end of the tracks, but it works pretty well La La Land was basically already (pop) rock and it's basically the same song, but well produced, Don't Forget too. Give You Heart a Break is nice and Skyscraper really good. It's a good compilation, I almost like every new versions of the songs... my least favorite could be Confident, the original is way better! Really Don't Care should've been added imo Edited September 15, 2023 by ReachOut
Freakshowvato Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 Neon Lights rock version is INCREDIBLE WOW!!! It sounds so brand new and the guy vocals were AMAZING, I think its one of my favorites. Neon Lights and TMYLM rock versions are better than original BY FAR
Freakshowvato Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 Demi sounds so mature on La La Land rock version omg!!!!
Freakshowvato Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 I might be only one who prefers Don’t Forget rock version over La La Land rock version
Freakshowvato Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 Yeah I personally lovr GYHAB. The guys vocals are very pop punk and add that flavor to it
thatsmydemi Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 I'm curious... do the sales of the songs in Revamped accumulate as part of the original? Or are they independent?
Tasty Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 Someone really needs to leak the solo versions.
politeone Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 The first time since Tell Me album that she has got my attention, this is an enjoyable project but does she have to scream & yell on every f song . I wish she’d save that for some of the songs, not every song hosh
Robburro Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 the art of starting over (song) deserved being on the tracklist... don't forget didn't
alp Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 should’ve picked really don’t care over don’t forget new high notes on la la land and give your heart a break are insane i love the new vocal approach on skyscraper i like the maine on neon lights but the song misses a sequence right before the guitar drop you’ll know what i mean others are great no words i just would like them to go harder it’s a little too pop but ok
FanOfPop Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 TMYLM and NL are excellent!! How dare she release such an upgrated versions?!
Lyrical Liar Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 After a couple more spins as a whole record, the ones I was meh about on first listen have definitely grown on me. It's just banger after banger so you can easily ignore that the vocal mixing and production are a bit iffy in places. Still wish a TAOSO song (or Stone Cold) made it on here but that's neither here nor there. Question for you girlies: which TAOSO song would you have liked to see revamped?
Dylan' Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 neon light is insanely good I wasn’t even sure it would make the track list but so glad it did
ronald Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 I was so hard on some of the songs But now I am so happy with the whole album. skyscraper is doing it for me right now. the lyric change on TMYLM
