The songs are on the shorter side, but I guess at least they're all radio friendly lengths. Half an hour for a 10 track album is short. Weyes Bloods newest album has 10 tracks and except for the 2 instrumental tracks everything is at least 4 minutes or longer and the album is over 45 minutes in length. The album is so short because most of the songs are around the 3 minute mark.

It's a short album in terms of length, not in terms of tracks. 10 track albums are fairly standard these days, but at least most artists don't average about 3:10 per song what do we expect from a youtuber tho. 1
BlackJesus Posted October 8, 2023 Posted October 8, 2023 Talk don’t realize 3:18 is an average track length these days… if not more than average.
KatyPrismSpirit Posted October 8, 2023 Posted October 8, 2023 Get Me Started is so ******* good ugh I keep coming back. It's WAY better than Rush 1

MonsterJohn Posted October 8, 2023 Posted October 8, 2023 I don't really like the 2 snippets. Can he stop with the excessive vocal processing please
TryMe Posted October 8, 2023 Posted October 8, 2023 I never listened to his previous outputs. But I'm tuned in. Loving this era. The visual, the music and the body; it's there.

The album is about sexual identity to young LGBTIQA youth. This is one of many themes included on the album. It makes the project more real cause this is exactly what is happening out there. 5

Maybe pop music isn't for you then? Popculture elements like eurovison state the perfect pop song should be under 3 minutes. Pop music is about don't bore us just get to the point. 2

I'm not saying it's good , but it happens, and it's cool that these topics get discussed in mainstream music , cause I would have died for a album like this when I was 15. 4
